We absolutely loved planning this Harry Potter themed Halloween party 🔮
Being huge Harry Potter fans for the past 18 years, we have always loved watching the films back to back this time of year when it starts to get cosy and cold outside, and of course reading all of the books. We have been dying to dress up as one of the characters every Halloween. We did throw the party mainly for all of our nieces and nephews (ourselves really), so we had a lot of Harry Potter theme games, and music at the ready!

I have been dying to dress up as Harry Potter every year for the past 15 years (literally) and I finally got the chance to! This is one of my favourite costumes to date. I brought Dumbledore’s wand/the elder wand from the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London a few years ago, and finally got to take it out of the box. Hence why it’s in every picture haha! The costume was purchased from eBay for a bargain, and the glasses were from Home Bargains.
Fleur Delacour from one of my favourite films of the series ‘The Goblet of Fire’. I absolutely love this dress!

A few snaps from around the House.

Everyone really made an effort costume-wise, from dressing as Dementors, to Professor McGonagall, Professor Trelawney, Hogwarts students, Moaning Myrtle, Nearly Headless Nick etc. Here’s a few of the pictures from the party to get you in the Halloween mood, and hopefully give you some inspo! We handmade tons of bits and also brought a mixture of props and decorations from Etsy/eBay/AliExpress and other home shops.
