So the whole world has been hit with enormous changes over the last few months as the lockdown and quarantine has taken over most peoples lives. Each individual has had to face a multitude of issues, whether that be with work, finances, family obligations, missed events, missed holidays… everything has changed.
It’s changed enormously for us in so many ways!! Anjel is now living in her own home a million miles away from me by the coast, which means getting together and being attached at the hip is no longer an option (☹), but on the positive side – the new place looks amazing in pictures and has given us both new inspo for creating more quirky home décor and tons of ideas for wonderful new things to make.
I have some very exciting news… I’m now 22 weeks pregnant with a little baby boy on the way. (Make sure you’re following our insta page for updates!). So going through the pregnancy through the lockdown has been a mixture of good and bad… good because I’ve had plenty of time to rest (and eat) and rest some more (and eat some more… hey I’m eating for two!), but along with that it’s not been easy not seeing family members or friends to share the whole pregnancy with. The last time they saw me, my belly was flat and the morning sickness had just started… now, I have a big huge bump and everything’s changed!
This pregnancy has definitely given me some new inspiration to start making baby bits and gothic bits for nurseries as currently, the market is so limited and seeing as we love any kind of arts and crafts challenges – especially when it comes to the weird and unusual, why the heaven not!
